Art can be another way to gain deeper insights and understanding of our addiction, and the pieces on this site were all created by members of Overeaters Anonymous. If you’re interested in collage art, consider submitting a piece that represents some aspect of recovery from compulsive eating. Inspiration might come from the spiritual principles (e.g., hope or perseverance), the Tools of Recovery (e.g., writing or meetings), or a non-god slogan (e.g., “One day at a time” or “Came for the vanity, stayed for the sanity”).
To be considered in the homepage slideshow, the artwork should work well with the colors in the banner (spring green, pink, and aqua). The size needs to follow a ratio of 3:1. A size example is 9 inches wide by 3 inches high (very, very horizontal).
The artwork may be cropped, so don’t put any important bits on the edges.
If you’re creating your artwork digitally, the final submission needs to be a jpg, 2500 x 880 pixels.
Any color scheme will work. The ratio needs to be 3:4. A size example is 6 inches wide by 8 inches high (vertical).
The artwork may be cropped, so don’t put any important bits on the edges.
If you’re creating digital artwork, the final submission needs to be a jpg, 450 x 600 pixels.
Scan or take a photo of your art (make sure there’s no glare). Save it as a jpg. Send it to us using the Contact us form. Be sure to include:
